How It Works
1. Create a Listing
List your whitelist spot for the price you want to receive. This price is only for the whitelist spot, not including the NFT mint price. A 10% fee is subtracted from the price upon a successful sale.
2. After Someone Buys
When a buyer purchases your spot, you'll need to delegate minting rights:
- Visit MegaEth Website
- Click on "Register ETH Address"
- Login with your credentials
- Add the buyer's address in the box
- Click "Register ETH Address" to complete delegation
3. Getting Paid
Once the buyer successfully mints, anyone can trigger the completion of the sale to release your payment. You can also complete the sale yourself after verifying the mint. This verification step ensures the buyer received their NFT before releasing funds.
Cancellation Options
As a seller, you can:
- Cancel your listing anytime before it's purchased
- Cancel a pending sale before the buyer mints
- Buyer's funds will be automatically returned upon cancellation
1. Purchase a Spot
Browse available listings and purchase a spot. Your funds will be held in escrow until the sale is completed.
2. Important: Before Minting
- • Wait for the seller to delegate minting rights to your address
- • If you get an NFT through other means, cancel your order first or you might lose your deposited funds!
- • Cancelling an order is only possible after the NFT contract is made public by the MegaETH team and configured on this escrow contract. Once it's configured you may cancel your buy order before minting to retrieve your funds.
3. Minting
Once minting is live and you've been delegated rights, you can mint your NFT. After successful minting, anyone can trigger the completion of the sale to release the funds to the seller.
What if minting fails?
If you're unable to mint due to FCFS (First Come, First Served), not selected by RNG, or any other reason, you can cancel the order to get a full refund of your deposited funds. The outcome is simple: either you get your NFT, or you get your money back.
Cancellation Options
As a buyer, you can:
- Cancel your purchase anytime before minting after the NFT contract is known and configured on the escrow contract
- Your funds will be returned immediately upon cancellation
- Important: Cancel if you get an NFT through other means or you'll lose your deposited funds!
