Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about the Fluffy Whitelist Escrow system

⚠️ Important: RNG Snapshot Requirements

MegaETH has announced an RNG snapshot on Sunday, February 9th at 11PM UTC.

Critical requirements:

  • All transactions must be completed before the snapshot time
  • Sellers must delegate to the buyer's address before the snapshot
  • Buyers must have 1 ETH in their wallet before the snapshot to be eligible for RNG selection

Failure to meet these requirements may result in ineligibility for the RNG selection process.

How can we trust this works as intended?

The escrow system is built on a fully verified and audited smart contract (audited by zarf.eth). All transactions are transparent and can be viewed on the blockchain. The smart contract ensures that buyers' funds are safely held until the NFT is minted, and sellers can't access the funds until the sale is complete. The code of the smart contract is public and verified on etherscan.

Are there any fees?

A fee of 10% is applied to successful sales to cover operational costs and development. This fee is automatically handled by the smart contract when a sale is completed. Unsuccessful orders where either the seller or buyer cancels are fully refunded. There are no additional hidden fees beyond standard network gas costs.

What if I'm not part of the RNG, will I lose my money?

No, your funds are completely safe. If you're unable to mint during the RNG process, you can easily cancel your purchase and receive a full refund of your payment. The smart contract ensures that your funds remain locked and retrievable until the NFT is successfully minted.

Can I buy multiple spots?

No, the system is designed to allow only one active purchase per wallet address. This ensures fair distribution and prevents monopolisation of the whitelist spots. If you already acquired an NFT through other means, cancel your buy order first or you might lose your deposited funds!

Can I revert my sell offer at any time?

Yes, you can cancel your sell offer at any time, as long as the buyer has not minted the NFT yet. Once the NFT has been minted, the offer can not be reverted anymore and the payment can be distributed.

Can I revert my buy offer before I minted the NFT?

Cancelling an order is only possible after the NFT has been made public by the MegaETH team and once the contract has been configured with this NFT address. Once it's configured you may cancel your buy order before minting to retrieve your funds. However, once you've minted your Fluffy NFT, the purchase cannot be reverted as the sale conditions have been met. Make sure to cancel any pending purchases before participating in the mint if you change your mind.

What if the seller did not delegate minting rights to the buyer and mints the NFT to their own address?

In this case the buyer will be fully reimbursed by reverting the buy offer. Only when the buyer actually minted the NFT, the escrow contract will release the funds to the seller, once the sale has been marked as complete by the seller.

Can I resell a listing bought through this escrow service?

No, this is currently not supported. You may revert your purchase before minting the NFT, which will fully refund your deposit.

What if I sold my spot and the buyer does not mint the NFT? Do I receive my funds?

No, you will only receive your funds if the buyer successfully mints the NFT and you complete the sale. Instead, you could cancel your listing and create a new one.
